Three season rooms are ideal if you want to enjoy your outdoor views during spring, summer, or fall. These rooms often have almost no insulation and don’t have a heating system, so a sturdy entryway door between the sunroom and your home is required to keep cold air from getting into the rest of your home.
Four season rooms have much more insulation, and often can be heated with an HVAC system, so you can use these rooms year-round. An entryway door isn’t required for a four season room, but a door can be added for aesthetic purposes.
Screen rooms are typically the least expensive type of sunroom addition you can have. These are usually built around an existing porch or patio, giving you a scenic living space without being pestered by bugs.
